In the heart of the Oisans and at the foot of the Meije, 1500
acres of snowfield with more than 200 km of runs !


63 ski lifts ! and access from the heart of the resort to all
the trails with no more than a 5 minutes walk with your skis on your shoulder.


The number of easy runs increases with altitude up to the glacier where the consistent quality of the snow and the easy slopes give gentle skiing at 3000 m.


At the top : the biggest skiable glacier in Europe ! Below, snow cannon insurance (just in case!)...Guaranteed snow cover from October to May :

Revel in the Vallons de la Meije, thanks to the liaison between the ski lifts of La Grave and Les 2 Alpes. One of the most exciting off piste runs in Europe with 2150 m of vertical pleasure and many other long, off piste runs.


Downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, off piste...
Visit the Ecrins National Park on snow shoes or try ski touring... Winter mountaineering or ice climbing... For each and every activity, their lessons, their courses ! For each and every age group, a suitable method !


And also, for the non skiers, snow shoe outings, excursions aboard
a tracked minibus and visit of the ice grotto at 3200 m.

The ski area of Les 2 Alpes spreads from the wooded slopes to the eternal snows from 1300 meters to 3600 meters.


63 ski lifts : a funicular, a sloping lift, a double detachable cable-car, a cable-car,
4 gondolas, 24 chair-lifts and 30 drag lifts make up the lift system of les 2 Alpes
giving an uphill capacity of more than 61 000 persons per hour.

200 kilometers of marked runs !


Thanks to it's glacier (the largest european summer ski area) and the man made snow (54
snow guns), les 2 Alpes can guaranty snow on all the ski area,
from the end of October to May. So you can enjoy the 76 marked
runs :

22 green runs (for beginners), 25 blue runs (for intermediates),
21 red runs (for good skiers) and 8 black runs (for expert skiers).


Cross country skiing


on the plains : 2 runs traced through trees; cross country skiing in the valley : relayed to the resort by a gondola, the Vénéon Valley (Venosc) offers wild nature with one of the beautiful cross country runs in France ; cross country : the skier can reach the high mountain on the Mont de Lans glacier (3200 m to
3600 m). The route is not difficult but requires the presence of a professional who knows the crevasse zones.


And finally, you can try every week ski by night on floodlit trails.


Ski and surf is possible on an area offering a 2300 m vertical drop.
