Overall

Day 6 was once again sunny but bitterly cold. The instructer decided that the slopes on the North side of the valley would be far too cold, so we spent the morning on the South side of the valley, just above our accomodation below Pied Moutet.

For most of the group, this would be the last day of skiing, so the emphasis was on skiing pretty fast and covering a lot of ground, rather than on tuition. It proved to be a very tiring morning, covering virtually every trail and every lift (most of the long drag lifts) on the hill.

I got an opportunity to rest when I fell of the drag lift and waited for about 20 minutes at the bottom of the slope for the rest of the group to get back down.

After lunch, I set off for the summit, but the queues were very long and I was on my own and couldn't really be bothered, so I was back down at the village by about 3pm.
